Annual NIBIB Grantee Meeting

Welcome to the Annual NIBIB Grantee Meeting.  This year's meeting is for those investigators who received awards in response to the following NIBIB research initiatives released in 2003:

• Operation of Sensors In Vivo
• Development of Advanced Biomaterials
• Research Opportunities in Tissue Engineering
• Image-Guided Interventions
• Systems and Methods for Small-Animal Imaging
• Research Methods for Cellular and Molecular Imaging
• Development of Novel Drug and Gene Delivery Systems and Devices

The meeting aims to provide a forum for the grantees and the NIH staff to (1) communicate research results with other grantees who have similar technical interests, (2) discuss project progress and status with NIBIB Program Directors, (3) improve and learn grantsmanship skills, and (4) learn how to translate technologies into applications. The goals of the meeting will be accomplished through programs that include oral grantee presentations, a scientific poster session, and grantsmanship and entrepreneurial workshops.
